After having been missed for a couple of years due to COVID, the WANGARATTA LIONS SWAP MEET & COLLECTABLES MARKET makes a welcome return on SUNDAY 20 NOVEMBER.

Staged at the Wangaratta Showgrounds with an anticipated 300 Exhibitors, it’s an action packed day.

Admission is only $5 per person with proceeds committed to LIONS Local Community Activities.

And Exhibitor Sites with goods to display or sell can be booked for $20.

A swap meet is where you go in search of that elusive automotive part, piece or bit for a car, truck or motorcycle; memorabilia, manuals, tools and collectables that are hard to find for a repair or restoration project.

They always attract a legion of interested hobbyists, mechanics and restorers as well as anyone in search of a rarity or treasure – hence the early opening!

In addition this year’s meet has a wealth of other attractions including a range of market stalls and full catering.i

Resuming also is the Shannons sponsored Yesterday’s Heroes Show N Shine with multiple prizes and the Grand Champion Award on offer. Only $10 entry for the vehicle and its driver. This is where you will see all those blasts from the past from the great days of the British, European and the heavy metal period of the US Auto Industry. Vehicle entry will be from 7 am with judging at 11 am. So bring your example along!

The Vintage Engine & Tractor Display is under the Warby Engine Club. We expect many old pieces of mechanical and motive engineering will be presented.
